Sharon Yvonne Stone born 10th March 1958, to Dorothy Lawson, a accountant, and Joseph William Stone 2nd, an ex-tool and die worker as well as a factory worker. Michael, Kelly, Patrick and Dorothy Lawson are her siblings. Stone was regarded as exceptionally gifted in her academics when she entered in the second grade at age five. She was a graduate of Saegertown High School in Saegertown, Pennsylvania, in 1975. In addition, she competed at Miss Pennsylvania. Miss Pennsylvania pageant and won Miss Crawford County. Stone was moved from Pennsylvania to New Jersey in 1977 with her aunt to pursue a career as models. In less than a month she signed up with Ford Modeling Agency. After a year spent living in Milan and Paris the model moved to Europe. Stone was unhappy with the fashion business in Europe but decided to concentrate on acting. Stone appeared in Woody Allen's movie "Stardust Memories" at the age of twenty. The film received diverse reactions.
